Is Lefty the Highland Bull on the Way to Washington Depot?
Did you know that the newest school mascot in Connecticut is a Scottish Highland Bull? One wandered off in Eastern Connecticut recently, and I think I know where it's headed.

My wife works at the incredible Frederick Gunn School in Washington, Connecticut, you may remember it as the Gunnery, but the school has rebranded in recent years. As part of the rebranding, Gunn has adopted its first sports mascot. The sports teams at Gunn were always known as the Highlanders, and now they will be represented by the cutest beast on the planet that actually calls the Scottish Highlands home - a Highland cow/bull.
The news of Connecticut's newest high school sports mascot seems to have caused a stir in Eastern Connecticut, according to yahoo.com a 3-foot-tall miniature Scottish Highland Bull has escaped from its pen at its home at Sullivan Brothers Farm in Franklin. Somehow this little cutie managed to sneak underneath a fence and has now been wandering Southeastern Connecticut for the past week, with many residents sharing photos and videos of the tiny mop top from as far away as Norwich.
The Bull's name is Lefty, and its owners are reportedly asking their neighbors to continue sending those videos and pics with the hope that skittish Lefty can somehow be coaxed back to the farm. Bulls love wandering off in Connecticut, I guess? Remember the ordeal in Plymouth last Winter? I would keep an eye on the area between Franklin and Washington Depot, maybe Lefty is lonely?
