Is Bed Bath & Beyond’s Nashville Store Just The Start?
Just two years ago national retailer Bed Bath & Beyond closed over 350+ stores across the nation after filing for bankruptcy. Shortly after the mass closing, Overstock.com swooped in and bought the concept and converted the brick & mortar and online hybrid business model to online only sales.

Do you remember the oversized Bed Bath & Beyond coupons that were mailed out every week? After the sale to Overstock.com, I started to receive those coupons via email instead of snail mail, but if you were lucky enough to save a few of those vintage mailers, you might be in luck soon.
Will Bed Bath & Beyond Retail Stores Return to Connecticut?
According to msn.com, Bed Bath & Beyond is coming back this month to the real world with the very first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store in Nashville, Tennessee. The store is scheduled to open to the public for the first time on Friday, August 8, 2025. At the moment, only this single store has been planned, but as with any product launch, if this test facility is successful, there may be more.
The parent company of the new Bed Bath & Beyond Home also owns Kirkland's Home, the closest Kirkland's Home to Connecticut is just over the Tappan Zee Bridge (I refuse to recognize the newer name, it will always be the TZ to me) in Nanuet, New York. There are no Kirkland's Home locations in Connecticut, or anywhere else in New England for that matter. Will Bed Bath & Beyond Home cross the Hudson in 2026? We'll have to wait and see how Tennessee latches onto the concept.
