Connecticut is often criticized and rarely celebrated.

I understand there are downsides but not enough to make you overlook that it's a great place to live and raise a family. There is one town prettier than the next, where I live in the Greater-Danbury area. Then as you circle outside that radius, there are even more small towns, and a lot of wonderful greenery.

Peace, Privacy, Protection - 95 Stunning Acres of Land Waits in Cornwall

After the past few years, we can probably all appreciate the ideas of nature and privacy. Even if you're a city person, you must admit that solitude is sounding better and better everyday. If that is becoming, or always was your perspective, this will grab your attention. This is 95 acres of virtually unblemished Mother Earth, and it's just a shade over $1 Million.

Hey, if you beat me to it and buy this property, do me one favor? Find out the secrets of Dudleytown and report back to me. Dudleytown is a long-story, the short version is this: in Cornwall, not an actual town, possibly haunted and highly protected.

Then, there is the question of owning the Earth, I'll leave that to the folks as Disney...take it away..

For more on this, and other local stories, check out the Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Podcast on Apple and Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's the same show we do on the radio but with limited commercials and no music. Or, listen live by streaming the show on the I-95 Rock Mobile app, or tune into I-95 (95.1FM).

Poll Ranks Greater-Danbury Towns 1-7 for Traffic Problems, Hat City Wins + Loses

Recently, I ran a poll to find out which town has the worst traffic problems in the Greater-Danbury area. I set out to rank the towns in order of the aggravation.

The towns up for consideration were:

  • Danbury
  • Brookfield
  • Bethel
  • Newtown
  • Ridgefield
  • New Milford
  • New Fairfield

The respondents were all current or former residents of the Greater-Danbury Area. I also made sure that I gathered some hilarious comments. #1 is the worst, having the most complaints and #7 is the best of the towns, receiving the least complaints. I counted all the votes from the respondents, and this is how it all worked out.

Creepy CT - New Images Beyond the Walls of Newtown's Abandoned Asylum - Fairfield Hills

Since it's frowned upon (illegal) to go inside the buildings without permission, there are not that many photos/videos from inside the walls. When a new video or photos surface, I jump on it, and that is exactly what I did when these images appeared on September 23, 2022.
