I'm fully Italian yet have never been to Italy, so when a piece of Italy makes its way to our state, I jump at the situation. I may be biased, but Italian food is the best kind of food. The desserts too are completely unmatched. You may not agree and that's fine, but I stand by my word.

Back in June of 2024, Oggi Gelato opened their first location in the U.S. and it was actually right here in Norwalk, Connecticut. Oggi Gelato is known for its unreal, fresh gelato where "the finest ingredients are blended seamlessly into artisanal gelato perfection." We're very lucky to have a piece of this in Connecticut, because the only other locations are Udine, Trieste, Pordenone, Rome, Barcelona, Santiago, and Athens. All locations are in Europe or South America and then one location in Connecticut. Even more exciting news? Connecticut is getting a second location.

Oggi Gelato shared on their Instagram a sneak peak of where their new location is going to be.

It looks like 1499 Post Road in Fairfield is going to be the second U.S. location for Oggi's as well as the second Connecticut location. Last month, I wrote about how a mouthwatering Dubai chocolate waffle could be found in a Connecticut gelato shop, and this is the very one.

Here's a look at what they have besides just gelato.

I am so unbelievably excited about this coming to Fairfield. I don't see any official opening dates yet, just that it says it will open up in 2025. When I get an official opening date, I'll be sure to let you know.

I may or may not be the first in line to try this out.

Some of Danbury's Best Gas Stations When You Are in A Rush

Whether stopping for gas, getting a coffee or just grabbing a snack, gas stations/convenience stores should be convenient, but that is not always the case. These Danbury gas stations have cracked the code, they don't fall into the common mistakes that make a gas station stop a headache. These are "Some of Danbury's Best Gas Stations When You Are In a Rush."
