Dubai Chocolate Waffle Can Be Found in a Connecticut Gelato Shop

Okay this got my attention really quickly.

If you haven't seen around the internet, Dubai chocolate is extremely popular right now. I'm not so sure exactly what made it so popular, but I've been seeing it everywhere. What's so special about it? I did a quick google search to find out that it's chocolate with unique filling of crispy knafeh (shredded phyllo pastry) and a creamy pistachio spread. Okay, yes. This is something I can get behind.

As I was scrolling my Instagram feed, I came across a Dubai chocolate waffle that is actually made right here in Connecticut. Just the sound of it is phenomenal. The looks? Out of this world. The description of the waffle is as follows:

The Belgium waffle is made in house on the waffle iron, topped with homemade pistachio gelato, drizzles of chocolate, crumbled pistachios and of course the crispy kataifi!

How can you say no to something like this? Here is the dessert.

The best part is that you can grab this right here in Connecticut. They are being made at Oggi Gelato in Norwalk. They have become such a hit that they are selling out very fast. In this most recent Instagram post, they said that the waffle is back.
