Memorable Moments In NFL History: SNL Goes Ditka Crazy

I was a kid when Saturday Night Live was professing it's love for all things Mike Ditka and I will never forget it.  As a young sports fan I remembering trying to emulate Mike Ditka's mannerisms and do impressions of him so when the guys on Saturday Night Live did it it was so much fun to watch.

"SNL goes all Ditka"

Da BEERS.  Chris Farley almost having a heart attack while eating an aircraft carrier's worth of sausage was classic.

"Richard Sherman rant"

Richard Sherman went on a rant while being interviewed after the NFC Championship game versus the San Francisco 49ers in 2014.  He apparently had a problem with Michael Crabtree and used this interview as a chance to let Crabtree knew how he felt while simultaneously scaring the living c%^p out of Erin Andrews.  My favorite part is at the end where it sounds like he gave a shout out to LL Bean.

"Meet the Gronk's"

No surprise.  Rob Gronkowski's family is dumb.  One is dumber than the next.  They answered every question the same.  Just wanna have a good time and get hyped.  I cannot argue with that outlook on life.

"Brett Favre's original retirement speech"

The tears...OH SO MANY TEARS.  Really tough to watch.  Wipe your face man.

"Flutie drop kicks extra point"

I remember watching that wondering if it was even allowed.  I've never seen anything like it in the NFL before and nothing like it since.
