Magnificent Mason-Made Castle in Monroe Hits the Market for $1.6M
If you have a couple of million bucks laying around and you are interested in an old mason-made castle-style mansion, have I got a place for you!
It's called "The Castle" believe it or not. Not a real original name but who am I to judge? Anyway, we came across this very cool listing on Zillow and had to share. My father was a member of the Freemasons so I recognize their symbol and I see it everywhere I go.
Lou Milano was able to see some Freemason stuff up close and personal. Dad did ask me a couple of times to join, but I was too busy working seven days a week and when I wasn't working, I was too busy partying. My mother is a member of "Eastern Star", which is a version of the Freemasons and she still attends meetings and ceremonies.
We invite you to check out "The Castle", with 8000 square feet and three levels. The house was built by the Freemasons and their symbol is embedded in the stonework throughout the home. Plenty of bedrooms for an NBA starting five and the head coach, and just as many fireplaces. After living here in the Northeast, I have grown to appreciate a good fireplace for sure, and this place has six of them!
An incredible kitchen in "The Castle" is located in the center of the house with a huge stone fireplace and french doors that lead to the terrace. There is so much coolness going on here it's crazy. This place is amazing and if you are into the whole renaissance-larping-type scene this place would be the perfect backdrop for an all-out "larpfest" of epic proportions. I will save you the "Googling"...
LARP (Live Action Role Playing), also called LARPing, is a character-driven type of gameplay that is conducted in the physical world. LARP combines elements of improvisational acting, pervasive gaming, cosplay (costume play) and role-playing games.
Here are some pics of this insane castle in Monroe from the listing on Zillow, and a special thanks to our good friend, Stephen for the heads up on this!
