Job Openings Are Plentiful in Danbury, Career Fair Coming to Mall
Thomas Edison said: “opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work."
Everyone needs the fulfillment that comes from a hard day's work. That said, the past few years have been difficult on employees and employers alike. According to stats from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics via Yahoo, there are more open jobs than there are available workers in the U.S.
That report was published on Monday (2/13/23) and says the nation has 11 million job openings and just 5.7 million unemployed workers to fill them. While the American workforce shortage is problematic for business, these vacancies provide a lot of opportunity for those willing to work.
Danbury is not immune to these conditions, there are many open jobs in the Hat City and the surrounding towns.
