Every year, our team comes out for 3 three days and we head to a parking lot where we collect non-perishable food donations as well as monetary donations on behalf of Hillside Food Outreach. Hillside is an amazing, local organization that focuses on delivering high-quality, nutritious food to low-income, chronically ill, disabled and those who can't access a traditional food pantry.

Every year, we have a blast while raising money and collecting food donations for a great cause thanks to you, our listeners.

You can make an online donation here.

A little run down for this year:

Who: Team i95 - We also invite our local celebrity friends. This year we have big plans and a whole slew of guests. We will be broadcasting live from the parking lot all weekend long.

What: We accept non-perishable food items, online donations, cash and checks made out to Hillside Food Outreach.

Where: The BJ's parking lot located at 106 Federal Road, Brookfield, CT.

When: Friday, November 17, Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19. The event starts at 6 AM on Friday and goes to Sunday at 3 PM.

Why: Because it's the least we can do to give back to an amazing community.

Camping for Cans could not happen without our amazing sponsors:

  • Savings Bank of Danbury
  • Coca-Cola Northeast
  • Dave's RV
  • Durkin's Tent Rental
  • Mitchell Oil
  • BJ's
  • Lesser Evil

Come out and say hello! It is one of our favorite weekends of the year because it gives us a chance to see all of our listeners and friends while giving back to our community. And guess what? You might even make it in this year's photo album.

Camping for Cans 2022

Camping for Cans is an annual event thrown by I-95 to collect cash and non-perishable food items to benefit the Hillside Foot Outreach. Hillside feeds those in-need, in the Greater-Danbury area. Each year we gather in a Brookfield parking lot and have fun in the name of the Greater good. The 2022 CFC was as good a year as we've ever had, take a look.
