Martling's role in the Howard Stern Show is well documented but Jackie has done so much more, including running a one-of-a-kind joke hotline for nearly 50 years.

Martling's life and career are now the subject of a documentary called "Joke Man." Jackie has been a friend to the I-95 Morning Show for many years so we wanted to check in with him to learn more about the film.

Lou: Tell us about this movie..

Jackie: "People seem to love it, it's great fun. I've had a pretty wacky life and people enjoy the many facets and it is such an eclectic group in this documentary. It's Penn Jillette and Sean Young and Willie Nelson, of course, Opie & Anthony and Artie Lange but the one that really throws them is Mark Cuban. I actually helped Mark Cuban in the early 90s when the internet first hit. I actually helped him with his website which people just can't believe because he's a gazillionaire and believe it or not he's thrilled to be in the documentary.``

Lou: Does Howard know about the movie?

Jackie: "I have no idea, I'm sure he does and I get tired of telling people that I am still friends with every person I ever met. I'm still in touch with a lot of people from my kindergarten class. I just had dinner two nights ago with six guys from my 1966 high school graduation. I'm still friends with everybody but the four people I spent 18 years with; Howard, Robin, Fred Norris and Gary, none of them are in the documentary. Of course, they were all asked but everything trickles down from Howard. Of course, they're not going to come on and say Jackie was important to the show because he passed notes and made Howard funnier. You know, that is a good way to get yourself shot."

Lou: I think about you a lot because of the world we're in now. I hear it with the way we talk on this show, people are like; why does it always have to be about sex with you? My answer is simple, it's the most interesting thing two people can talk about.

Jackie: "Of course it is and people keep asking me what about your act with all the confinement. I'm like, there is no confinement! I do my act it's always been the same, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, a little bit of poop but mainly sex because it is interesting. You know what Red Fox used to say? I talk about sex a lot because most of our parents had it."

No segment with Jackie "The Joke Man" would be complete without a joke, we asked for one and he delivered as always.

The interview was great, frankly very little of it had anything to do with the Howard Stern Show. We talked about Jackie's love for women, booze and weed. We discussed Jackie's friendship with Willie Nelson, his first encounter with Adam Sandler and how Jackie helped Mark Cuban get his start on the internet. You can listen to the entire thing below.

These Connecticut Homes are For Sale For Under 50,000 Dollars

Conneticut is an exceptionally expensive place to live and the real estate is off the charts. The cost of things had me wondering if it was even possible to find homes for $50K or less. My hypothesis was I would find a few parcels of land but that is about it. Let's see excatly what I was able to find using Redfin.

Connecticut's Startling Surprises: A Collection of the Most Unpleasant Wake-Ups

I think all of us are startled when the alarm clock goes off in the morning but there are much worse ways to wake up. Recently, I set out on a mission to find some of these ugly scenarios. I polled a group of Connecticut residents asking: "What is the Most Unpleasant Way You've Been Woken Out of a Dead Sleep?" As usual, Connecticut people delivered some of the most outrageous short stories you've ever read. These are some of the best responses we got.
