PHOENIX (AP) — Action-movie star Steven Seagal says he is considering a run for Arizona governor.

The “Marked for Death” actor told KNXV-TV that he is considering a shot at the state’s highest office and has had a talk about the bid with the self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in America.

The 61-year-old made the comments while talking about his newly released reality series “Steven Seagal – Lawman: Maricopa County.”

OK! On a scale of 1 to bad idea this is the dumbest idea I've ever heard. Will Chuck Norris please save us from this lunatic with a thunderous roundhouse kick to the esophagus?! First of all this guy can't even manage to pick a nationality. He's claimed to be Italian, Chinese and Native American. Second of all he can't pick a career. What are you sir? An actor? A ninja? A guitarist? A lawman? Pick a street weirdo. This whack job really thinks he's a sheriff. Last year he drove a tank through the side of someone's house while shooting this reality show only to find out the drugs he was looking for were not there. Yeah, he and the show were sued. Oh wait let me repeat that in case you did not catch it.....HE DROVE A TANK THROUGH THE SIDE OF SOMEONE'S HOUSE!  If you want a governor with a pony tail, carrying a Samurai sword and rocking a kimono then by all means Arizona, go for it!
