Forget Cinco De Mayo, This Year it’s Gringo De Mayo in Brookfield
From afar Brookfield, CT may not be synonymous with Cinco De Mayo celebrations but we know better.

Years ago, a Cinco De Mayo celebration in Greater-Danbury meant taking the afternoon off from work to go to Panchos & Gringos. Today, it's all about the Taco Bachi experience. This year Jose Adame and family are hosting Gringo De Mayo at their 849 Federal Road restaurant.
The Adames are already well known for making authentic Mexican comfort food but now they're developing a reputation for turning a meal, into an experience. In addition to the Cinco De Mayo menu, they've gathered their friends to share some amazing live music beginning at 4 pm from:
The Taco Bachi crew will have everything from their regular menu along with Chile Rellenos, Chicken Tamales, Volovanes (Veracruz Style Puff Pastry Patties filled with Ham,Pineapple and jalapeños) and their special Cali Burrito.
Jose Adame and his wife Isaura are simply the best kind of people. They are a family-owned and operated business that works hard, around the clock to make meals with love. If you go to this event, you're not doing me or them any favors. If you decide to go, it is you who will benefit by having one of the best meals of your life and seeing a free show.
Gringo De Mayo
- Taco Bachi
- 849 Federal Road
- Friday, May 5th from Noon - 7 pm
P.S. One thing Jose loves is when you "do you one better." There is nothing he enjoys more than a person telling a story that is just "one better" than the story he told. Try it and tell him I sent you.
