Hi Bingo fans of Connecticut, I have good news on this snowy day, something fun to do this coming Summer, when the church halls are warm - An annual all-day, high-stakes Bingo festival. It's coming back to Connecticut for the 37th year.

Foxwoods Resort Casino has announced that on Saturday, July 6, 2024, the 37th Annual edition of Firecracker High Stakes Bingo will take place inside the Foxwoods High Stakes Bingo Hall in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Tickets are not cheap, like the weekly games at your church, standard admission is $220 for the classic paper package, and $426 if you prefer to dab your numbers digitally on a tablet. Steep admission price, but remember, it's 'High Stakes', the prize payouts for July 6? $500,000. If you're truly Bingo-crazed, you can update either ticket package to the Mega Bundle, which includes eight special games, 4 quickies, and a one 4 way 50.

The event is going to begin at 1PM, and there's going to be a whopping 52 game marathon of high stakes Bingo games. You do have to be over the age of 18 to play.

Firecracker High Stakes Bingo is a huge event for Foxwoods, you may have seen it featured in numerous online videos for the freak-outs that have occurred after someone hits it big. The event started all the way back, before Foxwoods became FOXWOODS, in 1986. 2024 will be the 37th Annual. I went to the event a couple of times back in the mid-2010's, it's such a fun day overall. It's such a thrill to see someone scream out BINGO! in person, and then realize that they had not only won, they hit for $30,000.
