Danbury Police Copsicle Truck Rolls Into Texas Roadhouse for Special Fundraiser
According to a release from the Danbury Police Department, you can enjoy a great meal this week while helping fund one of the city's coolest community programs.

The Danbury Police Department is teaming up with Texas Roadhouse for a Copsicle Truck Fundraiser on Thursday, July 9 (TODAY), and participating couldn't be easier. Just stop by Texas Roadhouse anytime between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., present the fundraiser flyer when you pay your bill, and 10% of your meal will be donated to support the Danbury Police Department's Copsicle Truck program.
If you've never seen the Copsicle Truck in action, this is also your chance to check it out. The truck will be parked at the restaurant from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., giving families an opportunity to stop by, meet some of Danbury's police officers, and learn more about a program that's become a summertime favorite.
The Copsicle Truck is all about creating positive interactions between officers and the community. Throughout the summer, Danbury police travel to neighborhoods handing out free popsicles to kids, creating smiles while building trust and relationships with local families. It's a simple idea that has made a big impact throughout the city.
The fundraiser will take place at Texas Roadhouse, located at 74 Newtown Road in Danbury. Whether you're craving a steak, ribs, chicken, or just those famous rolls, your meal can help support a program that gives back to the community all summer long.

It's an easy way to enjoy dinner while helping the Danbury Police Department continue one of its most popular outreach programs. So, if you're looking for an excuse to skip cooking on Thursday, this one comes with a great cause attached.
