Connecticut Doctor Accused of Providing Fake Vaccination Records + Mask Exemption to Patients
Connecticut's Department of Public Health has suspended the license of physician and surgeon Sue McIntosh, M.D. of Durham, CT, for providing fraudulent vaccine exemption forms through the mail related to COVID-19, according to a Connecticut State press release dated September 24, 2021.
The forms were provided by Dr. Mcintosh even though she had never seen a patient. In the press release, the DPH Commissioner stated:
Her practice of medicine represents a clear and immediate danger to the public health and safety of our communities. The suspension of her license should serve as a warning to other practitioners that this conduct deviates from the standard of care and is subject to serious discipline.
An article in the September 29 edition of the Washington Post states that an individual anonymously contacted the DPH with the initial complaint. That same individual claimed that McIntosh was mailing fake coronavirus vaccine and mask exemption forms to anyone who sent her a self-addressed manila envelope.
The Department of Public Health proceeded to send Dr. McIntosh one of those envelopes. McIntosh took the bait, and last week during an emergency meeting, the Connecticut Medical Examining Board suspended her physician and surgeon licenses. Let's check out what the penalties are for using a fake vaccine card.
According to the website vox.com. the following are the six reasons Americans aren't getting vaccinated.
