Here Are the Five Sunrises That Took My Breath Away in 2025
When you go to work at 5AM, you get to see the Connecticut that most 9-5'ers miss. While you were sleeping, I was awake taking in the sunrise. Some of the most amazing colors happen over us at dawn and dusk in Spring and Fall, and I took photos.
Most days, the sunrise over Western Connecticut is boring. Half are gray, foggy, and damp, and make me want to climb back into bed. Summertime sunrises are usually subdued, with the humid air and high clouds blocking out the rays. There's magic though when the weather changes dramatically. When high thunderstorms leave wispy remnants in their wake at sunrise? You get colors above that you only see in movies.
Here Are the Five Sunrises That Took My Breath Away in 2025
I get to work at 5am Monday through Friday, we have a perfect view of the sunrise at the radio station. Every morning, I take in the sunrise, quite a few have taken me back. I went through my camera roll and found five in 2025 that were just absolutely incredible in their own way.
