According to the Connecticut State Police - Troop L and cspnews.org, on Friday, March 14. at 2:56pm, Troopers from Troop L were dispatched to a redacted residence in Morris in the vicinity of Bantam Lake Heights on reports of an active burglary. responding officers discovered a man matching the description of the accused allegedly covered in mud, shirtless and shoeless, acting erratic in a manic state while swinging a three-foot-long tree branch at responding Troopers.
After repeated verbal demands to drop the branch, and the Troopers tasers unholstered and pointed straight at the suspect, the suspect dropped the log and started to run away from Troopers. This is when CSP K9 Krypto came to the rescue, who unleashed a series of dog bites which finally subdued the suspect, although still combative, he was eventually taken into custody.
