Since we've all been confined to quarters since this pandemic started, small little things like a teacher parade of cars can do a lot to lift a child's spirit. Now the Brookfield Fire Department wants to give your kids a special birthday gift.

According to a press release from the BFD, if your child has an April or May birthday, the Brookfield Fire Department wants to be a part of it.

All you need to do if you're a Brookfield resident, is let them know when your child is celebrating that special day. You can contact them by email at this address: Bvfcsocialmedia@gmail.com

Don't wait, get in touch with them quickly, they are already getting tons of requests.

Once you do get the date and time set, get ready for the fun to begin. On your child's birthday, the department will do a fire truck drive by past your house with lights flashing to wish them a happy birthday. They'll make sure the whole neighborhood knows who's special day it is. The only thing they can't do is let the kids ride on the trucks, but as they say, it's the next best thing.

Imagine the surprise and delight you and your child will experience when the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department helps celebrate their “at-home isolation birthday party.”
