MSN just put out their list of the Happiest Cities in the World, and guess what? One of them is right here in New England.

That’s right—Boston made the cut. While most of the list is filled with international hot spots like Zurich, Cork, Berlin, Helsinki, Geneva, and Stockholm, Boston is standing tall with a smile on its face.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: Boston? The place where traffic makes you want to rip your hair out and rent prices look like phone numbers? Yep, that Boston. But somehow, despite the headaches, people living there are happier than most. MSN points out that the city’s strong economy plays a big role. Jobs are plentiful, salaries are solid, and if you’re into higher education, you’re basically in the Ivy League capital of the world. On top of that, Boston has a killer cultural scene, from historic landmarks to championship sports teams (most of the time) to concerts and theater.

Only two U.S. cities made the global “happy list”—Minneapolis and Boston. So while Zurich and Helsinki may have the Alps and the Northern Lights, we’ve got clam chowder, Fenway Park, and a city that somehow keeps its residents grinning through it all.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Boston, and I can honestly say I love that city—well, most of it. The Red Sox are still trash pandas, and the parking situation? Forget it. Calling it a “disaster” would be giving you false hope, because that suggests there’s actually parking to be found. There isn’t.

If you make the mistake of driving into Boston, your car instantly becomes an albatross around your neck. You’ll spend the entire day circling the streets, desperately hunting for a spot, only to realize the city’s army of ticket writers already claimed every halfway-decent option hours before you got there.

So do yourself a favor: skip the car altogether. Take the train, grab an Uber, or if you’re feeling ambitious—just walk there. Trust me, it’s easier.

My boy is wicked smaaaaat.

You’ll get the history, the legends, the frustrating investigations, and the eerie encounters. This isn’t just a ghost story. It’s about land ownership, mysterious incidents, government secrecy, and a community reluctant to talk. It’s curiosity pushing against walls of silence. So, buckle up — Dudleytown’s story is far stranger than you might expect.
