East Haven’s Haunted Trolley Is Back: And This Year, It’s an Alien Invasion
East Haven Has Been Invaded… By Aliens on a Trolley
Move over, Roswell. Forget Area 51. The aliens have chosen their next landing site: East Haven, Connecticut. The Shore Line Trolley Museum is rolling out its fourth annual Haunted Trolley, and this year it’s going full sci-fi comedy with “Alien Invasion: Connecticut.”

This unique Halloween ride is unlike typical haunted houses or hayrides. Guests will board a historic trolley for a live, immersive theatrical experience mixing comedy, thrills, and audience participation. Each adventure begins with a short multimedia introduction before passengers set off on a 30- to 45-minute ride where extraterrestrials may (or may not) succeed in their takeover. With only 40 seats per trolley, every show is intimate, interactive, and unpredictable.
Why Are Aliens Taking Over a Trolley in East Haven This Halloween?
Forget the usual Halloween formula. There are no zombies, no clowns, and nobody with a plastic machete chasing you through a cornfield. What you do get: laughs, mystery, and maybe a little probing (not to worry, it’s just from an investigator).
The invasion hits weekends starting October 3 and runs through November 1. Rides are $29, or $49 if you want VIP status and a T-shirt that proves you survived East Haven’s finest intergalactic party. Group (over 10) ride discounted rates available. Please inquire by email: hauntedtrolley@gmail.com or phone: (203) 795-4737. Tickets are expected to go fast!
