Sandler’s Star Joins Icons At Mohegan’s Walk Of Fame
One of the funniest men on the planet now has a permanent place in one of Connecticut's crown jewels, and he's the 43rd member of an elite group of entertainers.

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut has just announced that Adam Sandler is now the 43rd member of Mohegan Sun Arena's Walk of Fame. Sandler was at Mohegan Sun to perform a couple of shows over the weekend and was presented with his Walk of Fame star by the President of Sports and Entertainment at Mohegan Sun Tom Cantone and Joe Soper of the Mohegan Tribal Council outside of the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The Mohegan Sun Arena Wall of Fame is located in front of the Box Office and it's in full-view for everyone to enjoy at no charge. The most recent inductees to Mohegan Sun Arena's Walk of Fame have been iconic Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli, comedian Matt Rife, rock band Shinedown, country artist Luke Combs, and golden voice Josh Groban.
Sandler is a NYC/New England native, born in Brooklyn, and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, and is no stranger to Connecticut. Most of my co-workers were able to watch Sandler and crew film scenes of Mr. Deeds in 2000 on Bank Street in New Milford. I've seen him perform stand up and sing at the Meadows in Hartford and down in Bridgeport at the old Harbor Yard arena, and most of my friends and family in Waterbury were delighted when Sandler chose to have his fictional moving company based out of our hometown in Happy Gilmore 2.
