If I were a rich man, I'd be super excited to take my wonderful wife, Mindy, on an amazing culinary adventure! Just imagine us spending a whole month exploring all the fantastic restaurants Connecticut has to offer, enjoying every delicious dish along the way. Wait a minute! Scratch that idea. Mindy just informed me that, due to budgetary considerations, for now, our dining options are more like a cheeseburger and a small order of fries from McDonald's.

If Mindy and I cut back on the cocktails before we order dinner, we might just be able to pull it off. Think about it: back when I was younger, a Harvey Wallbanger, the go-to drink of the '70s, only cost about $1.50. These days, unless you hit up Happy Hour, cocktails at a decent restaurant usually set you back around $13 to $16!

For those who love and can afford to dine out, let's check out some of the newest Connecticut restaurants in 2025.
