If you don't like ghosts, goblins or spine tingling legends, Connecticut may not be for you. I don't know if there is a number you could put on it but I'd guess the state's paranormal folk stories number in the hundreds.

Connecticut is known for haunted houses and gruesome stories.
Have you ever heard of the Murder Factory? Before it got that nickname, it was a "Home for Aged People" run by "Sister" Amy Duggan Archer-Gilligan. The Windsor, CT old age home was supposed to be a place of care and comfort but turned into a nightmare for the residents. In the early 1900's, Amy murdered dozens of the people she was supposed to care for.
