Half Full – The Official Beer Of Wingfest [VIDEO]

You already know that we are bringing many of the area's best restaurants together on Saturday night for the CT Wingfest at the Matrix Conference Center.  You may not know that we also have one of the state's best and fastest growing breweries as the official beer of Wingfest - the Half Full Brewery of Stamford.

Half Full began with a guy named Conor, who had an epiphany about what he wanted to do with his life after four unsatisfying years on Wall Street. In 2008, he decided that he wanted to open a brewery.

Most guys have had this fantasy but unlike most of us, Conor laid out a plan and acted on it.  He got his MBA and learned all he could about making beer.

Four years later Half Full poured their first beer and in the three years since, their beer has become available in most of Connecticut and Westchester.

Half Full has three signature beers: a Bright Ale, an IPA and a Toasted Amber.  You can try this great local beer Saturday night at Wing Fest.

You can also visit their tasting room on Friday evenings from 4-7, and Saturdays and Sundays from noon-5. They do an "Open House Friday" a couple of times a month with open taps for a $15 cover and food trucks. The tasting room and brewery are at 53 Homestead Avenue in Stamford.
