‘Droopy Dog’ and The Crimson Wave Pool Got Destroyed in the National Championship Game

The Clemson Tigers beat the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16 in College Football's National Championship Game. More excited I could not be, nothing makes me happier than a Nick "Droopy Dog" Saban loss but when it's in the biggest game of all, we really have some fun.

Here is Saban after the game making excuses and being super charismatic.

In case you are wondering, that's not his sad face. It's his sad face, his happy face, his tired face, his surprised face. He's a real delight anytime he is near a microphone. The coach on the other sideline last night was Dabo Swinney and he's a bit different.

But enough about personality traits I like and don't like. What this Alabama loss means for the College Football landscape cannot be overstated. The fact that Clemson has taken two of the last three changes things.

College Football is ALL about recruiting and the best players go where they have the best chance to win and that place is now Clemson. If I am a top high school football recruit right now and I had to choose between the upbeat winner and the boring loser, I mean C'mon.
