Due to Hurricane Irma, the Yankees vs. Rays series had to be played at Citi Field, home of the Mets. This was technically an away game for the Yankees.
During one of the games, Todd Frazier hit a home run. This Mets fan above, who attended the game, stood up and gave a diesel thumbs down.
The next day, Todd Frazier hit a single. When he reached first base, he held up a thumbs down to his teammates in the dugout, and now it's a thing. This is their new team "thing." It's their rally cry and one of the coolest I have seen in a while.
