You know you are making amazing chicken when people are walking up on your drive-thru. A friend sent me this photo today (7/15/20) when they went to get some chicken at the Brookfield, CT "Chick-Fil-A." This woman got in line, she wore a mask and she ordered some chicken.

I like this woman, I like her a lot. She is special because she could not care less what anyone thinks of her. I've done the "drive-thru walk" at midnight with 16 Miller Lite's (it was Miller Time) in my belly in Brewster, NY, but that is synthetic courage.

I'm going to plead ignorance on this one, I don't know the COVID-19 rules as they pertain to walking a drive-thru and requesting a meal in the middle of the week, in 2020.

I can tell you from my experience, that it was frowned upon back in 1998 to walk to the drive-thru in Brewster, NY. It might have been midnight on a Saturday, I might have had my buddy riding piggy-back on my shoulders, we may have ordered twelve, 20 piece chicken meals and a spaghetti basket.

We were not served and that is OK but I think it was excessive to involve the Putnam County Police Department, we were hungry. I'd like to shout out both the woman in the drive-thru for her chicken tenacity and the woman who sent me the photo, Kristin Gomes.

No matter how bad things get in the world, I want you all to remember you have the great privilege of living in the United States of America. Not only do you have freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom of expression, but you can walk through a "drive-thru" and get chicken or photograph a person walking through one.

God Bless the U.S. of A.
