It's almost like an episode of Law and Order SVU. According to the NewsTimes, the FBI has been digging up a front lawn in a residential neighborhood in Cromwell.

According to the Hartford Courant, the home once belonged to Hartford cop, Julio Comacho. Back in 1997, Comacho's girlfriend Rosa Delgado and their 4-year-old daughter, Rosita, vanished.

Cromwell police who have been working on the investigation with the FBI say no other details will be released. Dump trucks have been brought in to take away the debris and crime scene tape has been placed in front of the home. Hartford's Channel 5 Eyewitness News was informed by the FBI that there is no threat to the community.

Unfortunately, Delgado's headless, handless body was found in '98 in a New Jersey lake. Their daughter has never been found.

Seventeen years ago, Julio Comacho was named the prime suspect, but the state's prosecutor apparently didn't have enough evidence to make the charges stick. Comacho was incarcerated in February of 2014 in the Norfolk, Virginia City Jail for failure to pay financial support obligations. He is set to be released next month.
