It takes a lot of skill, fast-dialing fingers, and maybe just a bit of luck to win our contests at i95, I may not be eligible to win, but it got me wondering, what's the best thing that you've ever won from us?

You know what sucks about working in radio? I'm ineligible to win any of the cool prizes that any tv, radio station, or media company gives away in Connecticut. I couldn't win the tickets to see Pearl Jam at Fenway, or the Chris Jericho Rock 'N Wrestling Rager at Sea.

Over the years we've given away thousands of concert tickets, vacations, vehicles, motorcycles, and more t-shirts than I could ever count here at i95, and it's as fun for me giving stuff away as it is for you to win. I love hearing how we sent you to your first concert, your only vacation during the 1980's, or got you down to Yankee Stadium with your dad. Some of the best things that I remember giving away over the years were Harley Davidson motorcycles, a Honda vehicle, trips to Jamaica, huge tv's, and Yankee and Giants World Series and Playoff tickets.

What started me thinking about this is I found the last thing that I was eligible to win from a Connecticut radio station, here it is -

I won these tickets in the fall of 1991, just as I was graduating from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Farmington. Lenny Kravitz put on an incredible show, out promoting Mama Said, and it made me a lifelong fan. I really hope that I've done this for you.
