I am going to preface this by saying I am sick. I was really sick yesterday. It all hit me at once, and I could not "adult", as they say.

With that excuse out of the way, I will tell you that I watched all of the third and final season of Bloodline yesterday. In case you are wondering, that is ten episodes. Ten hours of my life I will never get back. My previous record was eight episodes, and it was Mad Men.

I am, of course, not proud of myself. This is no way to live your life. This does happen, though, and it happens more and more nowadays. Full seasons get released in one shot on Netflix. Hulu still does the episode-a-week thing. A full season of your favorite show gets released, and you just turn it on, and don't even need to hit a button to get to the next episode. That's deadly. This is the new silent killer. They say that sitting is the new smoking, just not good for you. All that does is make me want to sit and smoke -- that sounds like a good time.

By the way, season three of Bloodline was disappointing. It's just my opinion, but I did not like the ending. I will say, however, that a bad episode of Bloodline is better than the best episode of Downton Abby.
