Redditors Can’t Stop Joking About A Door At West Farms
There’s a Mystery Door at the West Farms Mall in Connecticut.

A post on the Connecticut Reddit page grabbed my attention recently. It came from a user named ToonMaster, who wrote: "Saw this weird door tucked away in West Farms Mall."

There weren’t many comments, but the ones that showed up were solid gold:
AquaticFlight: The door down the hall labeled ‘Expensive People’ is much fancier and has a diamond door handle.
Nutmegmanwithbigsack: How much did they cost?
Legitimate_Egg_2073: Well?? Did you free them?
ocj98: it’s the loading door for free people. are u serious.
Secure_Net1751: Did you open it?

Nothing like asking a simple question online and immediately getting jumped on. But honestly, that’s part of the joy of the internet—watching people whip themselves into reactionary chaos over the smallest observation. I’d be curious about that mystery door, too, but I’ve learned my lesson about asking anything on Reddit.
You can be posting a sincere question about something you find interesting, something you genuinely want to understand, and you don’t even realize the sharks are already circling, waiting to tear into whoever dares to wonder out loud.
Whenever I crowd-source anything online, I go in fully prepared for 93% of the responses to be rage-bait nonsense. Most of the time I can laugh it off, but you really do have to be in the right headspace to even attempt gathering information from the crowd.
