Victoria’s Secret Closing 251 Stores – Will Danbury Survive the Cut?
On May 20, L Brands, the parent company of Victoria's Secret, announced they would be closing 251 stores.
The first question that came to mind was, "Will the Danbury Fair Mall be one of those stores?" I searched the internet for 30 minutes trying to locate a list of the Victoria's Secret stores that will be affected, and I failed to find not even a hint of the upcoming doomed stores.
The Danbury Fair location, unfortunately, was not included in the Phase One reopening. If you click on danburyfairmall.com, you can check out which stores are now offering in-person shopping and which restaurants are participating in curbside pickup.
Many guys would agree that walking into Victoria's Secret can be an exhilarating adventure, and at the same time, it can also be a terrifying sweat-inducing experience. Unless you're shopping for a sexy gift for your wife or girlfriend or both, walking into Victoria's Secret to 'browse' makes you simply look like a creeper.
If you and the wife are shopping together and she wanders into Victoria's Secret, DO NOT let your eyes wander into the store. Instead, just walk on by and let the little lady know you're heading to the Apple Store where real men shop.
When I was a much younger man back in the 80s, I used to visit Victoria's Secret regularly to shop for sexy lingerie for my wife, Mindy. As it turns out, I was purchasing 'sexy time' underwear that she said was too small. I, of course, thought it looked hot! She eventually visited the Danbury Fair location by herself and handed over a piece of paper with her measurements and my name to let them know that the next time I came in to buy that sexy teddy for her, it would fit.
