TV Personality Dan Abrams Knows People Hate His Alma Mater
You’ve seen him on News Nation, ABC News, MSNBC, and Live PD. He’s also a New York Times bestselling author, the founder of his own media company, and now he’s back with big news about his show On Patrol: Live on Reelz.

Dan Abrams is the driving force behind a string of successful true-crime TV shows, and his latest hit, On Patrol: Live, has been so popular that Reelz has ordered 90 new episodes. We recently had the chance to chat with Abrams, and here’s our favorite moment from that conversation.
Lou: We're just a few weeks away from March Madness and I learned this morning that you went to Duke University, the most hated University in all of basketball.
Dan: "It's true. It's true, and you know what? Even when I went there back in the ancient days, it was hated back then too. So, when it comes to college basketball, it's interesting that our football team isn't hated like that. Why? Because they're not that good. It's not Duke. There is an element of Duke, right? There’s a sense that the fans can be a bit snobby, but I’m a big Duke fan, so I’ll be rooting for the Blue Devils coming up."
On Patrol: Live airs every Friday and Saturday evening on Reelz. You can listen to our complete interview with Dan Abrams below.
