Find The Best Shopping Destinations Across Connecticut This Season
Even though the majority of most holiday shopping is being done online in 2025 the retail powers of Connecticut sure hope that you make it out for serious Black Friday savings this week. If you are planning on getting up bright and early on your day after Thanksgiving for serious retail therapy, here are the three areas of Connecticut that will give you the best chance at crossing every name off your list.

If you're a mall devotee my votes for the two best shopping malls in Connecticut are the Westfarms Mall in West Hartford/Farmington, and Danbury Fair. SoNo Collection is the newest and nicest indoor shopping space in Connecticut, but you will not find mid-to-low range items, it's mostly high end. I wouldn't bother with Meriden, Waterbury, or the Crystal Mall, and Trumbull and Post Mall in Orange are hit or miss for me. Buckland Hills? That's another story.
Evergreen Walk in South Windsor and the surrounding Buckland Hills Mall area of Manchester are a great alternative to those sick of the constant flow of Westfarms shoppers, and same goes for the Post Road (US1) in Milford/Orange/West Haven, there are major retailers lining the Boston Post Road waiting for you to get sick of the Post Mall.
For outlet shoppers there are really only two options, Clinton Premium Outlets in Clinton, and the Tager Outlets at Foxwoods. Out of the two I prefer the selection of merchandise at Clinton, but for all around atmosphere you cannot beat Foxwoods. Good luck shoppers, only three more days.
