This Country Pub Has the Best Subtle Branding in Connecticut
We all understand how marketing and branding your product works in the modern age, but some do it better than others, and I think the classiest comes from one of Connecticut's most awarded restaurants.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at New Preston's White Horse Country Pub and Restaurant over the weekend, and we were both impressed at how this wonderful place brands the delicious food that they serve to guests. The White Horse is one of Connecticut's most welcoming, coziest dining destinations, and it's located along 202 at 258 New Milford Turnpike in the Marbledale section of New Preston. Over the years the White Horse has received every accolade the Connecticut media and foodies give out - Best Restaurant, Best Fireside Dining, Best Prime Rib, Best Outdoor Dining, Best Brunch, etc. All true.
My wife ordered the House Signature Burger, and it came out with the White Horse Horsey branded into the top bun. The Burger was perfect in every way, with an incredible blend of sirloin, brisket, and short rib. I went for the Superior Fish & Chips, and yeah, it lived up to it's billing. Tender cod, a mix of sweet potato and traditional fries. I didn't have a White Horse on the fish, but my wife's Banoffi Pie had one made out of cocoa, and our takeout container had a beautiful branded sticker on it.
These subtle branding techniques and little extra steps make a difference, it delighted us to find them. Bravo White Horse.
