According to LOVE Food, sometimes cooking just isn’t happening — and when that moment hits, the only real challenge is figuring out where to order from.

For Connecticut, they point to Ruuthai’s in Bridgeport as a standout takeout option. LOVE Food describes the family-owned Thai restaurant as a place that delivers big on flavor whether you’re dining in or bringing it home. Their take is that the food is fresh, comforting, and bold enough to make it feel like more than just another takeout night.

The site highlights Ruuthai’s traditional Thai dishes, saying the menu covers everything from aromatic curries and classic stir-fries to hot, satisfying noodle dishes. They also single out a few popular picks, including pad Thai, rich curry options, and appetizer platters stacked with favorites like satay, egg rolls, fried wontons, and curry puffs.

According to LOVE Food, Ruuthai’s has earned its reputation by doing the basics really well — fast service, generous portions, and flavors that keep people coming back. For Connecticut takeout lovers looking to switch things up, they say this Bridgeport spot is well worth adding to the list.

Ruuthai’s is located at 648 Beechwood Avenue in Bridgeport. I checked out their website and holy cow the food does look amazing. This almost makes me want to enter Bridgeport. The crab rangoons look amazing and so do the chicken curry puffs. I am sucker for anything in puff form. If I ever do make it to Ruuthai’s, I'm going to walk in and shout "puff me!"

My research included, but was not limited to, sources like Forbes, MSN, and Expatsi. Here are five countries you might want to bring up at your next family meeting.
