After retiring as the UCONN Huskies basketball coach in September of 2012, Coach Jim Calhoun is back, but not with UCONN.

According to the Hartford Courant, the Hall of Fame former UCONN men's basketball coach, Jim Calhoun, has accepted a position with the Division III University of St. Joseph in West Hartford. Because Calhoun is still under contract, he cannot officially be named as the coach. Currently he's being named an advisor for the team. When asked why he decided to come out of retirement, this what he told the Hartford Courant:

I just miss it too much. I miss the kids, going to the gyms, all of that.

The University of St. Joseph is in the infancy stages of developing a Division III basketball program and that's where Jim Calhoun's expertise shines. Let's take a look at some of Jim Calhoun's defining moments as coach of the UCONN Huskies. Here's a quick peek at their first National Championship in 1999.
