According to the NY Post an "industry insider" says the Yankees, Mets and Marlins are attempting a blockbuster three team trade. The trade would send Noah Syndergaard to the Yankees, the Mets would get stud catcher JT Realmuto.

There are some serious hurdles to make this a reality. The Yanks and Mets are always reluctant to trade anyone of real value with each other. The fact is, any deal done between the two teams will have a winner and a loser and neither side wants history to view them as the loser of a trade of this magnitude.

A few other problems from the article are worth mentioning. The Marlins would be trading their young, star catcher within the division, this is something that teams try and avoid. Another possible deal killer is that the front offices of the Yankees and Miami are not on great terms at the moment.

What the article and the "Insider" fail to mention is what the Yankees would have to give up to get Syndergaard here. It all sounds great right now but you are not getting "Thor" for nothing.

I'm a Yankee fan and I want Syndergaard. I want this to happen as long as the names Judge, Torres and Andujar are not involved. If that's possible....PICK EM' UP! As far as the Mets are concerned, I think it's a good move for them too. They have a lot of offensive holes to fill and they can't fill any of them unless they are willing to deal one of their big pitchers. I've been saying this for months. As for the Marlins, who cares? Hopefully they don't win the deal.

Thor will indeed look good in pinstripes.
