All my NFL picks were garbage this week. I made the mistake of picking the Giants again, trying to be cute. By the time the 1 o'clock games were over, my whole NFL week was ruined and I was not going to sit through one more game. I decided to put on some music but I wanted a soft, relaxing soundscape.

I searched for and put on, 70's soft rock and that is when it happened. I found England Dan & John Ford Coley. I'd heard the song "I'd Really Love to See you Tonight" many times before and I have always loved it. Truthfully, I never knew who did the song and never cared to look it up, that was a mistake. Had I done my research earlier, I would have known it was England Dan & John Ford Coley.

That's what I found out yesterday and these two were electric performers in their day with no shortage of machismo. England Dan AKA  Danny Wayland Seals is the younger brother of Jim Seals of Seals and Crofts fame. England Dan and John Ford Coley split up in 1980 so Dan could pursue a country music career. What a waste, I feel like they weren't even close to done with sexing us with sweet, soft, velvety rock.

England Dan & John Ford Coley are all I will think about all week.
