Did you know that there is a wall backstage at Mohegan Sun that all the performers sign? It's true and there are some top notch acts that have played the arena. These were posted to Reddit just yesterday and give us a look into a world we don't all get to see.

 

There’s a wall backstage at Mohegan Sun arena that every artist that performs there signs from r/Connecticut

So many national acts have signed that wall including:

• Tesla
• Train
• The Deftones
• Lady Gaga
• Jason Aldean
• 3 Doors Down
• Paramore
• Luke Bryan
• Slaughter
• Dropkick Murphy's

Now you might be wondering how so many of those wall signings came out so neat and precise. One Reddit user asked a similar question u/lasagnaisgreat57 wrote:

It looks like some people must have done the stencil and signed it, because zooming in on Ariana grande and i think Selena Gomez it looks like they both signed it and wrote stuff too (LOL, I zoomed in a lot because i saw them both there and was looking for the concerts i was at). i wonder what the point of the stencil is though bc the handwritten stuff is cooler

Correct. Their crew will take care of the stencil part (and there’s a lot of crew signatures too). They usually time it around the time the artist is coming or going from that entrance so it’s easy to pass them sharpie onto their way to or from the dressing room.

This is the backstage wall in the Mohegan Sun arena. Here's a fun fact about me, I have signed the wall backstage at the Cabaret Theater in Mohegan Sun three times. I performed there back in my "stand-up" days. I have photos of the wall signings somewhere in my archives that I am not going to search for but if you don't believe me, find your way backstage sometime (legally).
