The Yankees finished off a three game sweep of the Mariners yesterday with a 4-3 win. That makes 50 wins on the year. They lead the AL East by two games, they are 28 games over .500.

If you had told me the team would be THIS good at the beginning of the season I would  have laughed in your face. It makes sense though, they have a legit ACE pitcher in Luis Severino and a lineup that is devastating.

The Yankees lead MLB in team home runs with 122, they are third in all of baseball for runs with 381 and second in RBI's with 371. The lineup is so strong you can't breathe as a pitcher, you can't pitch around anyone and you could give up your teams lead with just a handful of mistakes.

The Yankees are on pace to win 113 games this year, that is one shy of the '98 World Series Team. It's a good time to be a Yankee fan. It's most certainly a good time to be Yankee Manager Aaron Boone.

People are just loving Aaron Boone right now and that is fantastic. I'm happy for him and with him as the manager of the New York Yankees. I must say though that literally ANYONE could manage this team right now and be successful and this includes me.

If I were the manager, would the Yankees have 50 wins right now? Maybe not, but you can't go wrong with this lineup and the options you have on a regular basis. Take Wednesday's lineup for instance:

1. Aaron Hicks (S) CF - 10 HR'S, 32 RBI's
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF - 19 HR's, 50 RBI's
3. Didi Gregorius (L) SS - 14 HR's, 44 RBI's
4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH - 18 HR's, 42 RBI's
5. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B - 14 HR's, 45 RBI's
6. Gary Sanchez (R) C - 14 HR's, 41 RBI's
7. Greg Bird (L) 1B - 3 HR, 5 RBI's (ON THE DL MOST OF THE YEAR)
8. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B - 10 HR's, 32 RBI's
9. Clint Frazier (R) LF - 0 HR's, 3 RBI's (UP AND DOWN FROM AAA)
There is not an easy out 1-9. Just insane!
