The Best Fried Chicken Chain in the Country is All Over Connecticut
There are so many choices when you're in a pinch and want something quick. There's a variety of so many things you can choose from - burgers, salads, sandwiches, the list goes on.
We have a lot of chicken options around the country, believe it or not, and MSN recently curated a list of the best friend chicken chains in the U.S. Now, I will start this off by saying that you may not agree and that is okay. What you might think is the best, someone else may not. You're entitled to your own opinion and that is fine. Now back to the story.

What's the first place that comes to mind when you think chicken fast food chain? Mine is Chick-fil-a. People also go crazy over Chick-fil-a. When a new one opened up by me, there was a long line for weeks and weeks on end. I couldn't believe it. Surprisingly, it did not come in at number one on the list. Instead, it sat at number 3.
I feel like people are very particular about fried chicken. You want it to be crispy and cooked to perfection. Can you find that at a fast food place around the U.S? Apparently so. Let's take a look at the top 5 fried chicken fast food chains.
5. Church's Chicken (a mainly-Texas fast food chain that split to a few other states around the country)
4. Buffalo Wild Wings - it's rare you walk into an empty Buffalo Wild Wings now a days
3. Chick-fil-a - a fan-favorite with so few menu items. That's when you know they perfect their chicken.
2. KFC - a classic that has kept people coming back since 1939
1. Popeyes
Would you have guessed that? According to the article, "the moistness of the chicken has won the chain praise, as well as their wildly popular new crispy chicken sandwich, which some say rivals Chick-fil-A's."
There are currently 15 operating Popeyes stores around Connecticut including one right in Danbury. You can check out the list of Connecticut stores here. I will be completely honest with you. I've never had Popeyes before. Does it live up to the hype?
