The fact that we don't have many great beaches does not stop people from proclaiming a new king or queen (whichever you prefer) each year. Someone is always trying to grab eyeballs with a snappy headline, like new beaches magically appearing in the last calendar year.

That's the situation we find ourselves in with this next video, which comes from @jimmyofficial, well-known in Connecticut for his Constitution State-specific content. Hilarious. Yes, if your ultimate goal at the beach is people-watching and observing crimes or discarded needles, then Bridgeport's Seaside Park is a wonder to behold. However, for safety reasons, you might want to skip it for your next road trip.

I've always said, if you want to go to a top-quality beach, you need to get the heck out of the state or head to Ocean Beach Park in New London. Thankfully, we have amazing lakes, rolling hills, eye-popping seasonal colors, wonderful architecture, and rich history.
