‘Skyscraper’ Comes Out on Friday — Will it Deliver?

It's Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the summer blockbuster called "Skyscraper" hitting theaters this Friday July 13th. If I am understanding the premise right from the trailer we have an ex military guy turned head of security for a new skyscraper.

This building is a technological marvel, it's also poses huge security issues, issues "The Rock" brings up to his employers. His concerns will fall on deaf ears, bad guys will do something bad, The Rock will spring into action, his kids will be kidnapped while his focus is elsewhere and Neve Campbell will make Neve Campbell faces.

This either gonna suck so unbelievably hard or be an action classic. It's already stolen a lot of key elements from the Die Hard playbook and that is a great place to start but if you get people hyped Die Hard fun and don't deliver people are going to be pissed.

I am completely torn here and could go either way on a prediction. For once, I am going to be positive and bet on instant classic. I may regret this in a big way.
