Simple Plan finds new youth audience on Tik-Tok

In the early to mid 2000's the pop punk sensation Simple Plan was white hot with chart topping songs like; "Addicted," "Perfect," "Welcome to my Life," and "I'm Just a Kid." Now the band has found a brand new youth audience on Tik-Tok where their song "I'm Just a Kid" has gotten over thirty five million plays. We caught up with Simple Plan drummer Chuck Comeau to talk about the resurgence on the Ethan and Lou Show on Friday (6/12/20). It's the only song your kids are listening to on Tik-Tok that you don't hate.

When I tell my kids that I interviewed some big shot they barely listen and almost never know who I am talking about. When I told them Chuck was coming on the show I became the subject of an interview and they grilled me for thirty minutes.

It didn't stop there, the put their cousins of the same age on the phone to ask me more questions and Dad became a hero for a few minutes. I'm not going to lie to you, I don't care how those moments come about, I'm just glad they do. Thank you Chuck from Simple Plan for coming on the show and making Dad the coolest man alive.
