How much of a creep do you have to be to engage in purse snatching? Shelton Police are looking for help to ID two men they say have been doing just that. On Saturday, August 31st, Shelton PD issued a press release to alert the public and ask for their help.

The release says:

**Attempt to Identify Purse Snatchers**
The Shelton Police Department’s Detective Bureau is seeking assistance in identifying suspects involved in recent purse snatchings. These individuals have also been observed standing near ATMs, attempting to capture customers’ PIN numbers.

NBC CT adds:

In a social media post, police said the individuals also allegedly stood behind people at ATMs and attempted to steal their PIN numbers. It’s not clear if anyone was hurt. Photos released by police show the suspects, which appear as two men dressed in red and black shirts with black baseball caps.

NBC says they reached out to the Shelton PD for more details on the date and location of these incidents but have yet to hear back.
