Shelton Bagel Shop Recognized as Best in Connecticut

Bagels that are good just really hit the spot. When I'm craving a bagel, I head over to Connecticut's tried and true - A.M. Bagel in Derby. If you've never been, man oh man are you missing out. I know it's further away from this area of Connecticut, but it's worth the drive. I will say, Bagel Man never misses as well. Those bagels are damn good.

Well, it looks like there's a new (or another) sheriff in town. The website Tasting Table gathered a list of the best bagel shops in each state according to online reviews. They took into account what the people were saying and got their list based off of that. This is a handy list to have because when I go out of state, I will absolutely look for a great bagel.

When I scrolled the list, I expected to see A.M. Bagel on there if I'm being honest. But, when I did not, I was intrigued. It seems like there's another phenomenal bagel place just down the road. Bagel Bros & Co. took the crown for best bagel shop in Connecticut based on reviews. They are rated a 4.3 on Google Reviews, according to the website, and are known for their colorful themed bagels. I took a look through their Instagram and wow, I can not wait to try these bagels. If you need some examples, I will happily present them to you.

Not only do they have these delicious themed bagels, they also have a bunch of bagel sandwiches. You can really find pretty much anything you are looking for. They have their base menu for bagel flavors as well as weekly specials. You can check out their entire menu here.

As I was scrolling their Instagram, I found some great news. It looks like they're planning on opening a second location in Oxford. It doesn't look like there's an official opening timeline yet, but I will definitely update you when they have one.

I'm always excited to try new bagels and I will definitely be making a stop into here. Their address is 350 Howe Ave in Shelton. Next time you're in the area, I think you need to grab a bagel.
