Just in time for your romantic Valentine's Day dinner, two of Connecticut's finest dining locations are lowering the prices by hosting some of the first restaurant weeks of the 2025 season.

The average price for an entree has reached over $30 at most of the mid-to-high level restaurants that I've been to in 2024, but the sweetest words that a poor person can hear sometimes is prix fixe. That's what you'll get at upcoming restaurant weeks in Uncasville and Ridgefield.

First up, Ridgefield Restaurant Week 2025 is happening February 3-8, and 26 restaurants breweries and ice cream shops have signed up so far for the event. On the list this year are legendary locations like Bailey's Backyard, Prime Burger, Carvel, Terra Sole Ristorante, John's Best, and Gallo Ristorante. Some have already posted their Ridgefield Restaurant Week special menu, and the prix fixe menu planned for The Benjamin on West Lane looks amazing.

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut is one of my favorite places in this world, and they will host Restaurant Week 2025 from February 10-13. You can enjoy a four-course meal at Ballo Italian Restaurant for $75 a person, a three-course meal at Jasper White's Summer Shack for $62 a person, or a two-course meal at Sushi Koya for $30 a person. If you'd like to save a little extra money for gambling, which is a good idea, Bobby Flay's Burger Palace will offer a $10 burger, Ben & Jerry's will offer two selections in the $10 range, or you could try a New Orleans-style Jambalaya for $20 at FanDuel Sportsbook.
