Sawx Fans, Let’s Not Cue The Duck Boats Just Yet, You’re 10 Games Out

In the opening game of a four game series at Fenway between the Yanks/Sox Boston beat New York 19-3. As the game went on, my phone buzzed and buzzed and buzzed some more. When all was said and done, the 19 runs was the most the Sox have ever scored against the Yankees in a game and still no one will remember that or this game.

You Red Sox fans HAVE. GOT. TO. CALM. DOWN. Boston is ten games out of first place in the American League East and that is the statistic that matters. You are hungover Sully, go home. That's been the story of your season. After spanking the Yanks last year in the playoffs and going on to win the World Series, the Red Sox and their fans have been drunk and or hungover in celebration.

Get right, your season has been a disaster and you know it. There is a lot of work left to do for Boston to MAKE the playoffs. Once you do that you will have to go through the Bronx to get your bragging rights again. Let's all sit down please and while your at it, do some mouth shutting.

I'm tired of the nice-nice everyone has played. It starts at the top with the players, these guys are all pals and I don't like it. We need to bring the vitriol back to the rivalry already. In the 70's, 80's 90' and early 2000's these teams and their fan bases could not stand one another, I miss that. This is baseball, not Disneyland.
