This is not a commercial, but it's going to seem like one because this place is awesome.

My wife has been asking me to go to this Juice Bar since it opened, and I am glad I did. Fresh Juice Bar is located at 259 Main Street in Danbury, CT and has a wide array of healthy food and drink options.

Those who know me, would never expect me to visit a place that advertises its meals as organic, vegan or gluten free, but I was there and it was refreshing and delicious. The menu was loaded with options for health conscious people or people who just love fruit.

No surprise -- I got a drink called "Speak Up." It had Blueberry, Blackberry, Lemon Pear, Ginger, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme.

After I drank it, I felt like I had 9 shots of espresso. Homeboy was WIDE awake. My wife Erica's fruit bowl was called the "Fresh Twist." She asked the lady behind the counter if she would add the protein pack that she drinks everyday into it for her and they were happy to do it. This is what it looked like -- are you kidding me?

That is beautiful and tasted even better than it looked. If I tried to recreate this at home, I'd fail miserably and somehow end up in the hospital. We actually convinced our daughter that there was ice cream in it, which was not hard to do since it tasted like it had ice cream in it.

The folks that helped us were pleasant and happy to explain their menu options.

The background music was just our style at the perfect volume for both conversation and dance. Yes, there was dancing.

Fresh Juice Bar was a top notch experience, I am going back and you should take a trip to try it for yourself. Chef recommends. I'm Chef.

Since I have never done a review before, I need to decide on a rating scale. I like to use letter grades. I'll give Fresh Juice Bar an A+. If you need a contrast/baseline you should know I rate any "Wheels" convenience store/gas station an F- for being both inconvenient and lacking the sale of wheels.
